August 20, 2024 8:45 AM – 3:30 PM
DSL Flex Space (Main Library, 2 West)
We would like to invite you and your colleagues to join us for the annual Digital Humanities THATCamp, taking place on Tuesday, August 20th from 8:45am - 3:30pm in the Digital Scholarship Lab of the MSU Main Library (Second Floor, West). *Light breakfast, lunch and ice cream will be served What is THATCamp? THATCamp stands for “The Humanities and Technology Camp.” It is an unconference: an open, fun, less formal meeting where humanists and technologists of all skill levels learn and build together in sessions proposed on the spot. This "un-conference" event is a fun, low stakes way to engage and learn from like-minded folks in the MSU community and beyond about new and emerging ideas in the digital humanities field. Unlike typical conferences, at THATCamp, we set the schedule the morning of the event based by voting on a series of possible sessions proposed that day by participants. The event will be held from 8:45am to 3:30pm on Tuesday August 20, 2024, in the Digital Scholarship Lab of the MSU Library, but attendees may come and go as their schedule allows.
